  • viral myocarditis often has no symptoms or minimal symptoms causing sudden unexpected death.Hand foot mouth disease caused by coxsackie virus, certain virulent strains of this virus can cause viral myocarditis & cause death in otherwise limiting HFMD lllness

  • Was curious if those "black dots" within the pericardium/myocardium were lymphocytes, macrophages, neutraphils? How do you tell on that slide?
