  • That's good, if this is the line of composition to which you feel drawn. The layout and, as you say, the use of numerology are important to Crumb but only as a part of the 'mystique' of his work. I believe he now resides in Arizona but has retired from active teaching. You could perhaps write to him about studying privately...and don't ply him with too many questions!
