Here is my Regner Vincent again, converted to 7/8ths scale by the addition of a driver and a chimney cap. It also has a Summerlands Chuffer of course! Here it is hauling a scratchbuilt open coach and tanker, plus a production prototype Festiniog Quarrymens' Coach which will be available from Jurassic Models this Autumn. Please see my website for their current range. The train is running, of course, on Roy Wood's wonderful woodland railway on a breezy day and I was not filming when the lot blew of the track on the high part - partly due to quarrymen leaning out! Once I added some ballast all was OK. Also you will notice that the door handles are different as I was trying out ones made from handrail knobs.
Another windy day at Roy's I see. Reminds me of the persistant Nor'westers we get most days over summer here on the Canterbury Plains, NZ. I managed to get my standard mamod chuffer fitted to my new Mamod Centurion piston valve traction engine and I am very impressed with the sound, especially using a 25 psi safety valve with it too. I have done a video response aswell and feel free to use my videos on your website. I will definately be buying more chuffers in the future, cheers Campbell

@73Datsun180B - Thanks for the video Campbell - I have often thought of fitting one to my Wilesco traction engine but haven't got round to it. Yours certainly does chuff - I hope the neighbours don't mind!
Yes - we do get some breezy days at Roy's - there is just the one big gap in the trees where it all comes through. I must remember to add more ballast next time!
Cheers
