There is a bit of a light gap in the center, but this is due to poor engineering more than the lights themselves. It looks worse here in this video than it actually is however as the lighting looks incredible. Classy much like the newer Lexus' not ricey at all. The tails are stock in 2001+ E39's. :)

No they have capacitors built-in so no error codes.
