This signal was also found during my trip to the Cole Family Transportation Museum in Bangor, ME. It's an 8" traffic signal made by GE and features a distinct glass lens pattern common with traffic signals of this particular make. Judging from the flat top and bottom, I would guess this signal was made sometime in the 1960's. This signal saw service in Bangor and was removed from service when the intersection in my guess was upgraded to newer and more efficient signals. The signal was later donated to the museum and put on display. The last time I saw this signal, it wasn't working at all. To my surprise on my visit this time, the signal was on and it was sequencing. I would assume the signal was equipped with a Lights-To-Go type sequencer. It shares a similar body design to Econolite, LFE, and Marbelite signals. Recorded May 25, 2009. Enjoy. :)
Very nice old signal...I wonder what the condition of the reflectors is...the indications seem very dim.
