Let's Play Dragon Quest VIII - Part 1 - Opening

Welcome to Let's Play Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King/Complete Game Walkthrough!

This will be my first Let's Play.

Starting in the second video I will have audio commentary.

This is actually my second attempt at this walkthrough (if you can call those other two videos I did an attempt). I was using a digital camera and you could barely even make it out. So now it will be awesome and I will finish. I swear!

When I say "Complete Game Walkthrough," that means I will not only be showing you the main story, but the monsters in each region, my personal playing preferences as far as skill point allocation and alchemy mixes, and I will be going off the beaten trail to show you every treasure chest in the game, and every pot or barrel in every town containing an item. It doesn't get much better than this!

I have seen the other walkthroughs of this game (only like 5 or 6), and I assure you none if them are as much in-depth as mine. Not to brag at all.

Some other notes...
I do not want to show every battle, but editing them out makes the videos choppy and unappealing. So I've decided to keep them, but use more holy water to keep monsters away.

I will only post these videos once a week, on Friday. Expect around eight parts a week. Subscribe so you know when they come out!

This walkthrough will be incredibly long, probably upward of 200 videos. Maybe more, I don't know, due to it's in-depth content.

In Part One, we see the opening credits and scenes, and meet our characters, the main Hero (whatever you named him), Yangus, King Trode, and Madea (You will find out much more about her later on, no spoilers here!), and the purpose of their quest.

I haven't played this game yet, but I am current playing 6 and 9, ive seen alot of praise and love for this game, and I'm happy you get the costumes of the main characters here in dragon quest 9 ;)

not just one of the greatest RPGs of all time, but one of the greatest games of all time. In my top 5 favorite of all time. I just can't stress it anymore.  To me, even current games don't hold a candle to this. Someone tell me to simmer down nah.
