  • good job on your vids!I love my k-1000 and my Kx,especially putting my 50mm f2.82 on my Kx or my sigma DG 70-300 f4 on both of them. But my question is on my K-1000 on the ISO selector between the numbers (200,400,800 ect) there are two dots could you please explain to me what they are used for?my other question is what would be a good intermediate lens that i can use on both the K-1000 &Kx,like around a 28x210 or something close to that? Thanks

  • the meter is the light meter

  • @bloodygopher1 well duh i figured that out like i min after i was done with the video

  • @foxclaw1234 you push the little black lever next to the lens and rotate the lens counter clockwise untill it pops off

  • heheheh ur fat

  • do you know how to fix a camera that is stuk on the zomong

  • @mohawkynot I don't understand. The lens you choose has nothing to do with it. If you dialled 125 instead of 100 it's a small difference (1/3 EV) so you shouldn't have a problem with your pictures. If your photo lab technician is skilled and knows what he deos, you could ask him to correct for that difference. This is called "pushing" the film, and is normally done with larger differences, for eg. 100->200 or 100->400.

  • @surferboy36O .sorry i'm kinda new in photography, and i had 100 iso loaded and i changed it to 125 would that give me a differant EV valule or is it because the use of a differant lens?

  • how do you take off the lense?

  • @kepikeeper The felt on the inside is absorb the shock of the mirror, you should replace it with a new one so the mirror doesn't get damaged, but it wont affect your photos. If your pictures are grey, it could be sveral problems, is the negative too light? too dark? It could also be bad developing or expired paper.
