  • @Zero82nd I agree, those companies make such good engines, that the market fully supports them so they didn't need a government bailout. Oh wait...

  • @tom11zz884 Maybe the best Jap engine.. Chevy and Dodge beat any Jap car by a longshot.

  • @tom11zz884

Very true. I'm a "Honda guy" but in terms of HP VS Displacement Toyota and Nissan have generally been better over the years. Over all I think Japanese cars are just better engineered. Today's domestics may now be on par in terms of build quality/reliability/etc. , but it's taken them a long time to catch up, and it will also take a while to see if it's true. In time we'll see if today's domestics "outlast" todays imports.

I know..It's a beast of a little engine having test drove one. But this engine should not be a surprise because Nissan has been making some of the best engines in the world for decades now...even better than Honda and Toyota I dare say.

  • I'm not sold on the looks yet, but the engineering (Especially a 1.6L Turbo with Direct Gas Injection that puts out 180 Hp) is very impressive!

  • WOOT TEST DRIVE UNLIMITED GRAPHICS

  • put the engine from the juke in a new 240sx replacement and price is affordably and nissan will make millions

  • AWESOME!! Nissan keeps impressing me! The only thing I dont understand is how they say that the CVT "shifts" but aren't CVT's supposed to have an infinite number of gears, thus they dont "shift"????

  • Come on Nissan, put a turbo in the QR and use this setup in the new gen of the SE-R Spec V.
