  • Why can't this manga movie forward from chapter 94?

  • @qwuezalothus because it is a monthly manga...and there is a month between releases?

  • Medusa is evil. REAL evil, but bad and evil are not remotely the same thing. In her case its bad and a ridiculous amount of evil.

  • @ZdkDzk hmm, I think I get what you're saying. Do you mind elaborating? =)

  • Today, I hate animes but love mangas.

Animes are just marketing-shots in hunt for TV-viewers. They allways change everything, the studios can't stand the pure hardness of a mangastory. It just makes me sick to my stomach!

  • @deathcityizlove (3) And my final defense to Crona being the one to be a kishin, they say a child's mind and soul are more pure that an adult's. I figure that Medusa trusted Crona with creating a better world over herself. Course as I said, this is how I see it personally. And my defense is rather weak so I'm pretty sure that you or someone else can easily counter this. And I fully agree to Medusa as a grey character. She ain't as evil as most think.

  • @deathcityizlove (2) In some ways (though I may be the blind person on this) Medusa shows some motherly intent even before the moment of her death. At Baba Yaga, she stated that she'd never give up Crona. As well, in chapter 69, Tezca sent her a vision of Crona. In a way, I suspect that told her that she was going to die, and by Crona's hand. Despite this, she still strives to make him a kishin.

  • @deathcityizlove (1) You are not wrong. She most likely has failed as a parent. My only defense to that (however weak it may be) is never once have I heard Crona tell someone that he was abused by Medusa. We know it happened, but its the fact that Crona doesn't want to tell people for fear that Medusa would get in trouble. He knows why she does it... its to 'help' him in a way that normal parenting wouldn't have done.

  • @hailenvy (3) She's doing so at the expense of her own child. I hate to bring Real World examples into this, but it's like Crona's a child brainwashed and bred for war, (s)he's essentially a sacrificial lamb for the execution of Medusa's scheme. She may be trying to change the world (maybe even for the better!), but it comes at the cost of Crona's torment. She set Crona's standards for a guardian so low (s)he didn't even recognize her own mother. So in that respect, I believe she fails as a parent

  • @hailenvy (2) doesn't make her a good mother (in my opinion). Sure, it may justify some if not many of the "horrible" (as Shibusen sees it) things she's done (and it may tuck her into a moral gray area, she was only doing what was best for her and her people after all), but, I believe she failed miserably as a parent. Crona didn't ask for any of that treatment, Crona didn't deserve that sort of neglect and coldness from his own mother. So what if she's trying to change the world? (continued)~
