Actually research shows (unfortunately) intimate partner violence can be found in any relationship regardless of the sexual orientation of those involved. Same sex partner violence just doesn't seem as common because it is under-reported, or mis-reported as "assault" instead of "domestic violence". But intimate partner violence occurs in same sex couples at about the same rate as heterosexual couples.

I had a boyfriend that talk shit and tried to be controling. He wouldnt attempt to hit for two reasons. 1. my dogs would of had a field day on his ass! 2. He knows I would of fought back. reationship lasted 3 weeks. I saw the signs!!

my God it brings out memories of the past abuses from my past spouses. the demands,hits,weapons,degrades,­jealousys,possessiveness,blame­,feeling guilty for not doing enough,feeling like it was all my fault,trying harder to please, each time moreso when an abuse cycle occurred,to keep things stable,makes me cry! I have climbed those mountains,my lessons gave me the strength and Jesus held my hand each time even when I denied Him,my friends support.to finally get out of the abuse. I am a survivor !
