regardless of whether theyr spies or not, i think they deserved to be jailed. no Iranian nor Iraqis go to the border area because first-safety and second- Iran Iraq are still technically at war, there was no peace treaty signed so if anyone gets close to the border he or she automatically becomes a potential target.

First, if America having conflict with another country, going there should be the last thing on your to do list. In my opinion, leave these people in Iran and stop wasting tax payer money, tv air time because they chose that way. This situation is exact same thing with the 2 reporters crossed N.Korean border. Only mentally ill people or dare devil would do such a thing unless this is a SETUP or STAGE to get out of STANDOFF situation.
