I first came across Hal Sirowitz in the seminal spoken word anthology, Aloud. He's quite a character in real life; to hear the poems off the page, vocalized, Hal captures best, highlighting his own brand of eccentricity and dry humor.

Well, being born and raised in Israel, I never celebrated Thanksgiving. I guess that's one American tradition my folks didn't bring with them from New York.

Muscles still hurt, skipped the torture device today, since the booklet said no more than 3 times a week on the first weeks.
