  • @DBrewster316 These "real" bagpipe makers put alot of time and effort into them, that's why they're expensive... watch how they make them, all machined to prefection..

I do know where you can get a set of P0's for about $475 shipped (U.S.), inc a canmore zipper bag. I just bought P1's and really like them...I'm a beginner, but I can tell once I get my chanter situated, they'll be good to learn on. McCallum is a great group from Scotland, and definitely the best priced out there.

  • great sound! i just wish that bagpipes didn't cost so much! I find these for around $600-$800 as the basic set (the P0) and that still seems high :/ I'm a college student so cash is always tight. I've grown beyond what my practice chanter can do but have no money for a full set! Any suggestions?

  • Great sounds but can someone please tell me the name of the very last tune played (started at 0:57)

  • Great ! - I've been playing McCallum Acetyl Pipes for two years now, and now have more than half a dozen happy pupils who have bought them too. Acetyl has to be the future - great sound, reasonable price, won't warp or crack - perfect !
