Recipe

1/3 cup raisins
1 tablespoon dark rum
5 tablespoons soft butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tablespoon dry yeast
2 tablespoons sugar
2 eggs
1 2/3 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
pineapple (fresh or canned)
Rum Syrup

1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup water
2/3 cup good dark rum
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

  • well, I use black Rum, and very bad one, Captain Jack, I think

    Otherwise my husband wouldn't let it stand in a kitchen for so long. Anyway, I heard that black is better than white

  • I made it but like the pan thing i used was like wider so the cake is realy thin but like bigger and yea it doesnt want to come out of the pan thing cuz i forgot to put spray in pan thingy and stuff...

  • Sorry, I did not show that you need to put some shortening. But yea you have to do that. It was a project and it was supposed to be 5 min long, I couldn't fit every detail in it :(
