Sorry, but two critical points you must know if you don't already. 1) Merck, GSK, Pfizer, etc (Big Pharma) would not let this happen in a million years. If they can make $30,000 from chemotherapy drugs, do you really think they wan't to "cure" cancer? No, it's harsh but there are approx. 7,000,000,000 so what difference is 1 person gone? It's insignificant. We are nothing. Secondly since there are many different types of cancer, it's irrational to say "a cure for cancer".

Cancer: A disease I'm all too familiar with. Lost both of my paternal grandparents, my uncle, and my mother, all to cancer. My husband also lost his grandfather to it, last year. NOW....my maternal grandfather was just diagnosed and there's no hope for him, in addition to another one of my uncles, who is currently fighting it. So basically, it's wiping my family out, one by one. We need to find a cure for this damned disease, and we need it NOW!
