Regardless of anyones opinion of Newt, just consider this.

All federal budgets come from the house.

Newt was Speaker for 4 years.

In those 4 years we had 4 balanced budgets.

That is something I hadn't seen before and haven't seen since.

Contract for america only applied to the newly elected reps but most of all that he kept a copy of the constitution in his breast pocket next to his heart.
