Meet Joe

Joe Sestak has spent his life in service to our country. After growing up here in Delaware County, he followed in his dads footsteps to the Naval Academy and served for 31 years, including in the Clinton White House and in combat operations at sea. He was even head of the Navy antiterrorism unit after 9/11. Joe left the Navy when his daughter was diagnosed with cancer and ran for Congress to see all Americans have access to the health care that saved her life. Now hes running for Senate because its time we had some accountability in Washington. Joe Sestak: hes the Democrat we can count on.

As a senior citizen, I met Joe Sestak when he ran for congress. I heard him speak in person. That day is etched in my mind, because I met a real, true, honest person. I worked to get Joe elected to congress and voted for him, Joe Sestak did not let me down, and my vote was not wasted. He will make a great Senator.

Truly, the state lost. We missed a great opportunity to elect a proven leader. Let's hope we're lucky enough in 6 years to have a candidate like Joe again.
