  • consider yourself one of the luckiest people in the world, this is how life should be lived.you have peace in your soul enough for thousands. bon venture!!!! and may the wind always fill your sails

  • Nice boat. If you have the means for it, good for you. "the only noble thing you can do with money, Is to build a boat" I'm not sure who said that. might hve been shakespeare. If you really wanna be blown away and actually build a yacht real people can afford, read George Buehlers books "Backyard Boatbuilding" and "The Troller Yacht Book." I'm planning on building the 44' Duck as soon as I get back from station overseas.

  • Phantastic job!

  • Good build, did you know that you also could use solar energi in multiple ways? Just with a solar panel, you could make electricity and this could then be used for making hydrogen for use in fuel cells!

Electrolysis and pressurised gas tank = HHO = Emission free

Recently it has been invented a new kind of solar panels with more effecency for a cheaper price, solar catcher or sun catcher.

Lots of good technology out there, we just have to find a good way to utillize it as best as possible

  • This is great. I'm also building a boat in hopes for a long term circumnavigation. If you're interested in seeing that work, you can see it here - bristol27 (dot) com

  • honestly how much does materials for an item cost like that as far as raw materials?

  • @godbluffvdgg only few days then hell fire if not understood the real purpose of life

  • how much is quite a bit.. it can be 50k it can be 300k whats quite a bit for that kinda boat.

if you know give a a estimate figure from something base for that size

  • unfortunately quite a bit,

if you build it yourself you can cut the cost of paying som1 else, but u in turn put your time in.

its a worthwhile endeavor as you can see tho, something timeless about it really. People have been building and sailing since ancient times and the thrill of setting sail into the unknown is just as good today as it was 3000 years ago

  • awesome build!

  • Great looking boat, I hope you enjoy, I plan to build one myself(maybe not as cool, I'll start with a canoe)
