Worldbeater22, the world record at the time was held by Defar in 14:16. Later, Dibaba took it down to 14:11.
Vivian said that the Ethiopians are beatable and a few months later, she won the Berlin World Championship gold as did Masai in the 10k.

She is a bad ass. Unlike many kenyans she has closing speed that can match that of Defar and Diababa. I am Ethiopian, I wish this girl good luck. She is amazing.

LOL!!! the ethiopians are very strong??????can they ever be beaten?.well they were beaten badly by kenyans in berlin in both 5000m and 10000m.thy are not unbeatable.
