I still carry this pistol daily in a wallet or IWB holster daily. I like my Taurus TCP just as much. I sit on this laser in the holster every day and after well over a year of carrying this way, have not had a problem maintaining point of aim with the laser.

if someone pulls a gun out on you can you shoot them legally and it be justified. I would be scared to shot someone because it would not be under the wrong jurisdiction.

Depends on the state and jurisdiction. What state? Generally, if you are legally carrying and you reasonably believe that you a person is going to cause you death or great bodily harm, you can use deadly force to defend yourself. If it boils down to my life or theirs, I am almost universally justified in defending myself. It then depends on whether I was carrying legally or not. Some laws in some states prohibit that.

When I use Hollow points, my LCP jams alot. No matter what brand of HP I use. Full metal jackets work fine. Does anyone else have this problem? Please help thanks

@eastofakron actually, this is not uncommon unfortunately. Call Ruger's Customer service and talk to them. Some folks have sent them back and they have done some polishing of the feed ramp and chamber. If it won't feed, something is wrong. When you send it back, make sure you have a metal magazine release, if not, ask them to upgrade your pistol. Customer service there is great. But, you gotta call them first.

Just got the gun in California. I bought it at Turners from a private party dealer. The guy who owned it before me was a cop. So, I'm one of the very few in Cali that has a ruger lcp to his collection.

@demmylowther For twice the price,I can buy either another 380 or a nice .22 cal. target pistol like a Rugar,Sig,Beretta,Walther.If your not a gun nut and this is the only gun you will ever own,and it's only for a "What if" situation,I can probalby see getting voluntarily rooked by this company.But,if you have many guns like alot of guys do,I cannot see the point of lubing up your butt crack,and getting monetarily screwed by this company.What is the profit margin on this piece?
