The opening weekend for the 2008 Checkered Flag Productions Monster Truck Winter Nationals Championship series was held in Topeka, KS December 28th-29th at the Kansas Expocentre. Monster trucks competing included Bigfoot, Twisted Dragon, Larry Quick's Ghost Ryder, Bulletproof, Monkey'N Around, and Barbarian. Presented here are the highlights from two nights of racing and freestyle competition.
