Geddy Lee Sings The Mississippi Queen! (well... kinda)

Okay. I've always wanted to learn Mississippi Queen. It is probably one of the coolest songs ever written. Just a brilliantly basic groove with some nice guitar riffs and cool lyrics that are delivered by a cool guy with a cool voice that punches you right in the face. The song is so cool, in fact, Leslie West had to get a permit before releasing it. The song is so cool, the dividing glass walls in the studio actually frosted over while he was doing the guitar solo. And they actually had to put a warning label on the album cover telling you not to lick the record because your tongue would get stuck. That's how cool Mississippi Queen is.
I talked to this guy about recording the vocal track a couple years ago after I got around to learning and recording the music. He was really cool and pretty much agreed to do it. Radio Flyer was the name of his band I think. Search for them. You'd see that it would have been wise to use him.
But that was two years ago. I kinda searched for an isolated vocal track of Leslie West, but couldn't find one. So I thought I'd try to use the vocal track I did have, and this is what I came up with.
