Heres a video cutting a nested sheet tonight. These mdf parts are for a newer and larger 4x4 machine, 3/4" cut with a 1/4" upspiral at around 120IPM. Run with Mach3, programmed with Vectric's Vcarvepro and on stepper motors powered by a xylotex 3axis cnc controller. Check out cnczone.com for more documentation on the 2006 model cnc router.

  • Take care, MDF dust is known to give sinus cancer. A very efficient aspiration is a need, I wonder wether the way aspiration is done here is sufficient.

    Nice work anyway !

  • That's why I have a 2 stage dust collector, and an air filtration unit overhead. Besides, the amount of MDF dust you need to breath in to do any harm would require you to work in a plant manufacturing it; and for years. Not just normal woodworking usage as here.
