WipEout HD - Chenghou Project Reverse - Phantom - Time Trial - 1.49.88 - Close View

For comparison with the cockpit view video, here is a TT on Chenghou Project Reverse with close view, almost equalling my best time (1.49.83/2nd in rankings). It's nearly a whole 5 seconds faster than my cockpit view time, but looks A LOT slower and is far far less fun.

Back to the actual video - I thought it was pure genius, and it kind of reminded me of the chase missions from WipEout: Fusion.

@AntiGrav510 - Almost everyone used AG-S pre-Fury. The only good thing about Fury ships is that stats changes mixed things up a bit.

In the World Cup I started in Icaras for US and Italy. Changed to EG-X against France. But then realised how much of a blatant target it made me in that kind of game. When AG-S is everywhere, being in it is practically being in camouflage. xD Knowing England players mostly used AG-S made it a no brainer. Finished in G-45 in the final though. :-)

@chiliharvs I do remember watching HellfireWZ's races of England vs The Netherlands and it appeared you were all in AG-S, him the only one in the Goteki. I'm currently having problems trying to play anything with my brother other than Eliminators with him in a Triakis.

@AntiGrav510 - I only really just started using it a bit online recently. But nothing else has such a good combined steering and speed stat. Feisar (HD or Fury) and Qirex (the Fury version) are solid ships (performance wise) though. If you want to win online then AG-S is probably your best bet. I prefer Goteki, but with Fury AG-S you get 95 thrust so G-45 is then pretty much redundant. :-(
