  • ok so ive been reading alot into 347 and 331 storkers as im getting ready to by a 90-93 mustang notchback and theres alot of debate on which is better and i was wondering if you could give me your take on the differences and pros and cons

  • @ksr5610 Mostly opinion. The 331 offers a shorter rod which some same lowers the lateral stress on the pistons in the bore. My advice, pick quality compenents and get a custom cam/head package that will make big HP/TQ numbers for your applicaiton. I'd go with the 347 as there is no replacement for displacement! PM if you need pricing or quotes. I have a couple foxes for sale as well.

  • your running 10's with 350rwhp??? that's amazing i run 10.70's all day and im making 600 at the wheels granted its a 3600lb car with a 3 speed...

  • @alfabravo98 It's all about efficiency. This coupe is super lite and hooks on wet grass! It only takes a bit over 400 hp to go 10's if most of it's getting to the tires and you weigh under 3,000 lbs.

  • weld rims, makes about 430 crank, 350 rwhp. It has a lot of suspension, and runs easy low 11's hi 10's on motor with slicks. Compression is 10.7:1, pump gas friendly. Hope that helps. PM for more details or a custom build quote.

  • how do u build a 10 sec car with a 331 plz send me the formula plz or at least a 11sec

  • @kk0gt

Typically a stock weight car will require alot more than a lighter one. That being stated, generally a stroked 302 to 331 or 347 should easily run low 11's to high 10's with a matched intake, head, cam combo, rear suspension, and a set of sticky tires. (With a gifted driver of course!) Contact us via message to get something specific to your application that will ensure a solid 10-11 sec street car build. We've consistantly produced 10 sec capable cars with these motor combos.

  • That is my dream car right there!!! You are a genius dont suppose you have any for sale

  • Would love to see what it does for real at the track!!!!LOL

  • @THRstang - What trans do you recommend for this kind of setup? I've been looking at doing a similar setup with a Hurst T56 6speed. Also, what diff ratios would get you into the high 10s?

  • what´s the compression ratio ? pump gas able ? how much power does the 331 develop at the crank / or to the wheels ?

what rims are those ? holeshot rims ?

  • i love mustangs but do you think a camaro Ls1 could run with you car .pleases let me know if not kill i'm all mustangs forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
