Yes, there are some recipes with creamed corn. Also you can use just regular frozen, canned, or fresh corn. Just make sure it's thawed out/dry before you put it in the batter. You can use Laura's recipe and add corn to it and it will come out fine.

I personally love to make cornbread with fresh corn kernels and grated cheese. I use either cheddar or pepperjack cheese. SO good!

U can use vegetable oil too it works fine

Next time use a little sage along with the poultry seasoning and add some butter trust me ...from the south ..it works, make u some giblet Gravy, and u can put some chicken in it too ...yum

Tried this today with polenta and only baking powder, came out fantastic!!! I'll try and cut down the butter and shortening but apart from that just wonderful!

Finally tried this recipe and it was good, def a  keeper! My stepdaughter only request is to put sweet corn next time I make this :)

you can add peppers choped up in it to good with soup beans oh yes rased on corn bread some dont like sweet corn bread some do
