  • Is batch render the only way to render an animated scene in maya?

    Yes it is, you can render with different rendering engines but to render multiple frames you need to use batch rendering.

  • thankyou heaps it helped alot but i got an error with the files at the end i used jpg and just got 300 jpg files with nothing in them just a black image, please let me know if u know how to fix this
