RC Cola "Me and My RC" Campaign - Promo LP Track 1. Overture; Stock Car

Here is a short video I threw together using the first track from an promotional LP put out by RC Cola. The "Me and My RC" campaign was very successful in bringing attention back to the product. If you are like me and you grew up in the south in the 70's you probably have this tune stuck in your head. I have a special place in my heart for RC Cola. After my dad retired from the Navy he took a job with RC during the height of the "Me and My RC" media blitz so I think I paid more attention to it than most kids did at the time. Fortunately, being the son of the "RC Man" (which made me RC Boy in school) and suffering with crippling pack-rat-icism, I have a treasure trove of old Royal Crown propaganda material that I can share with the world. LUCKY YOU!!!! Now sit back, turn down the CB and pop open an RC in a glass bottle because you are about to travel back in time. In the meantime, I will try to post the remaining eight tracks for your enjoyment. CHEERS!!!

@CSIS25 They still make RC but it seems it is not available as it used to be. The larger colas play dirty to keep it buried away from the public.

Bought 4 12 packs today. It's not stocked as much as in the past; they just don't get the shelf space. About 15-20 years ago Coke and Pepsi regional execs got jail time in the Mid-Atlantic area for forcing stores to take away shelf space from Rc. They got jail time as I said and paid millions of dollars to Rc but they never got their shelf space back. Sad because it's still the best cola by far.
