  • @grooverheliboy what a stupid and untrue comment

  • @johnjoeba I advise you to go to university and do a degree fella. Will increase your chances against competition drastically.

  • I used to think that leaders were born and not made. Now, I no longer believe this to be the case. Just a few hours ago I met an old friend of mine, who, when a teenager, was a push over and easily led. Nothing to suggest he was capable of being a leader. He is now a lieutenant with the british army and is soon to be promoted to captain. I could not believe his tranformation. he said it was down to determination and the will to learn and self educate.

    leadership must always be positive.

  • A Majority of officers are pretty clever but when it comes down to sheer common sense they have nothing !!

  • @johnjoeba Get more than 180 UCAS points and at least two a-levels. Also, research into the training course, Sandhursts history, the regiment you want to join. And most of all your loyalty to this nation! Just prove your worth recruiting. I went into the career office and started my application when I was in my second year but didn't go furthur till I got my results. Better to have a foot in the door. Also, ask the recruiter about "Taster weeks" So, go into your local office ASAP!

  • @MeinDeutsch1 yea i think im just going to join after a-levels then how did you prepare for sandhurst or did you even prepare atall is there anything you did that helped you get into sandhurst im just asking to see if their is any way to increas my chances thanks :D

  • @MeinDeutsch1 yea i think im going to just join after my a-levels and see what happens from there :D

  • @johnjoeba Join after your A-levels. That's what I did, you have a good chance just as the University graduates do. It's a great career path with alot too offer but, training is challenging mentally and phyiscally

  • @randomndluvinit94 same mate when are you tring to get in after sixth fourm or uni or you joining as a soldier

  • All those 2nd Lieutenants lol means a lot more platoons for the British army too :D
