How can anyone say this wonderful man is not musical?? He writes and plays his own music, he enhances others' music. He has won international yodeling contests in the past. He is a wonderful entertainer and his music helped calm my soul during a difficult time in my life. Luckily for me he frequented our part of the world. May he continue to write, play and sing for many, many years to come.

Bill Staines is an amazing song writer and wonderful to see in concert, as he entertains not only with his music, but also with his stories and tall tales.

Not much of a singer and so far I haven't heard a song that I thought was really first rate. Has he done anything that has been recorded by anyone that I would know? Just must not be my kind of music.
