The lyrics. The lyrics. That's all that ever meant anything in this tune. Certainly to me. Bobby had spent 20+ years knowing the blues by this time. The arrangement is dated. The drums are nasty (like what nasty used to mean). The synths aged horribly. But the lyrics, they still have some truth in them. 'If you see me running through some streets at night, it's alright. I'm just looking for all my yesterdays, sweet memories I lost along the way.' I know I'm still looking for them.
