DEDICATED TO THE WOMAN I LOVE
"The woman whom even God dreamed of before the world was made;
The woman of whom I was born at cost of pain and labor at a cross;
The woman who, though no priest, could yet on Calvary's hill breathe 'this is my Body, this is my blood'- for none save her gave Him human life
The woman who guides my pen,
which falters so with words in telling of The Word.
The woman who, in a world of reds, shows forth the blue of hope.
Accept these dried grapes of thoughts from this poor author, who has no wine;
And with Canna's magic and thy Son's power
work a miracle and save a soul-
forgetting not my own."
- Fulton J. Sheen

  • To all Christians who doubt Marys' VITAL IMPORTANCE in the ROLE of our Humanity,remember she did NOT have to say YES! No matter how you want to twist it,turn it,it still comes down to SHE SAID YES! If it weren't for the Catholic Church,she would've been long forgotten.Protestants treat herno better than an incubator.it's dreadful that they say they love Jesus who adored His Mother & told us she IS Our Mother,they almost hate Her!

  • @sweet161402 well said.

  • @MRGV7373 mary gave birth to Jesus. he is truly human and God.you try to bring the honor of Mary down but you cant because the holy spirit granted it to her for being faithfull to him.

  • @cheesemonkey1990 that works for me quite well. Thanks

  • @MRGV7373 She was the mother of God in the sense that when God became man, she helped make that possible. but of course Jesus is the eternally begotton son of God. So when God entered into time and space, Mary was there to help make that possible.

  • @cheesemonkey1990 Did you read what I wrote? I said above that Mary gave birth to the Whole Jesus- both parts, man and God full 100%. Read the rest. God, Jesus and the HS existed in eternity long before Mary was born.So the eternal God Head existed in time and space. In God's plan, Jesus the Son was born in time and space via Mary, God part from the over shadowing of Mary by the HS and the human side form Mary. Yes Hypostatic union. Mary the source of God?? God's Mother?

  • @MRGV7373 basically you are denying the hypostatic union defined by the council of Constantonople in 325: it teaches us that in the person of Christ a human and divine nature exist in their entirty in one person. So the Whole Jesus is fully God and man, that is, as you said why the cooperation of God and man was "necessary" for the incarnation, but the two, in Christ are inseperable.

  • @MRGV7373 "All generations shall call me blessed." While Mary never sought any glory for herself, it is due to her anyway because of her roll as theotokos, a word used since the second century to describe Mary as she is: God Bearer.

  • @cheesemonkey1990 Mary got picked by God to do this and she is most blessed. She is the person who raised Jesus and it must have been amazing at the same time heart breaking and then, saved by her very own "son". Amazing story. I love Mary but at the same time. Let's let Mary be a human and a mother of children and a great wife of Joseph. Putting Mary on a throne is not what the humble Mary would want or ever do.

  • @cheesemonkey1990 She did give birth to the whole Jesus, but the Human side of Jesus comes from Mary and the God side comes from God via the overshadowing of HS and not Mary. To claim Mary as the mother of God is true in one sense but not true in another. No human birthed the God in beginning of time and space, but God through Mary did come to earth. So Mary is mother of Jesus while God in the father of Jesus and us all. But to claim Mary Mother of God is a bit much.
