I disagree very much with his advice to limit meat. The human bodies main foods should be meats(including the fat) and leafy greens. He was correct about the grass fed part, though.

I feel ya brother. None of this stuff I've found online is going to help us at all. O,o

@MyBustedPancreas "Ugh" the title says "insulin RESISTANCE," which IS type 2.

@cobrachoppergirl No "fucking food corporation" forced me into type 2. I knew burgers, fries, candy bars, soda, and sitting on my ass was bad for me. The fault lies with ME. Unlike many people these days, I accept responsibility for my own actions.

@colb4130 Haha! Oh...OK......Type 2 is the FAKE kind, and doesn't hurt anything or kill you or anything...lol.

Biotin???? Biotin is essential for the metabolism of carbohydrates!!!! Do I want to speed up the carbs. metabolism or slow it down????I read in a book a note said" watch your sugar closely if you take biotin". I am confused.

Soy causes thyroid disease. I've known so many people who got sick from consuming soy products in the amounts that is recommended. Soy is a processed food with natural poisons to kill insects. Oprah is the biggest example of the failure of a soy-based diet to help people.

@MyBustedPancreas it says insulin resistance in the title. i thought it was pretty clear what he was going to be talking about.

Ugh, this video refers to TYPE 2 DIABETES, not type 1 diabetes. A real doctor would make this distinction. Type 1 diabetics require insulin (injected or through a pump) to survive. There is no other option for treating type 1 diabetes. Without insulin, type 1 diabetics die. Get it right.

So much useful information... I need to watch this video again with a pen and paper!
Instead of trying to fix the problem after its too late, why don't we sue these fucking food corporations into the ground so they'll stop doing this to the worlds population in the name of profit.
