Geraldine (Jerry) Elliott and Alfred St.John
Alfred St. John on the Caribbean Steel Pans and Jerry Elliott on the
1934 Deagan Marimba and Steinway Baby Grand combine to offer Christmas music
of a most unusual and wonderful nature - the sounds of which truly reflect
the diversity of the Dynamic Recording label. Here's a gent from Trinidad & Tobago
performing with a lady from Upstate New York - he's black, she's white -
he's middle aged - she's over 80!
At the same time the first steel pans with melodic notes were being introduced,
Jerry was waiting for her fiance to come back from the Army Air Corp.
service in Italy at the end of WWII. Now THAT's diversity.
And the instruments and performances combine beautifully to offer these Christmas
selections in a whole new manner of music that illustrates one of the most treasured
wishes of the season - Peace on Earth, Good Will To Men.
