  • great job! do you just play over the existing drum track or do you somehow mute it?

  • Thanks, no the drums are still there so I had to work out the possible rudiments used by Randy Jones in the solos to play the same over the top.

    Glad you enjoyed it

    Mart

  • Hi Martin,

I'm not a good enough drummer to see what you've done differently from before (if anything), but I do know that it's a joy to watch you play, especially these complex uptempo tunes. One thing hasn't changed; the power you put into that china at 3.15...same as the last version....I suspect that you enjoy that as much as I do!!!! All the best, T

  • Sorry T I miss lead you there, it was the same video but the streaming got screwed up and it was a slow motion blur instead of real time, I deleted it as the later version 'Give it One faster was on here.

But then i got quite a few inbox messages from people asking me to repost it so I did.

Seems to be playing ok now.

    Sorry about the confusion.

    Martin

  • GO SONOR LITE!!!

  • Awesome Mart! I'm doing the same thing. You spent some time on the exact rhythms I can tell! Much appreciated!

  • woo mayn!

soo relaxed played, i really liked it! I played for a year ago, and you really make me wanna play again :)

great job, keep it up! :)

  • This really shows what it takes to be a great drummer. I've listened to this song since I was in probably 6th grade and you don't realize how much the drummer does. Now you do.
