  • YouTube won't let me send the link but if you google "tasmin little, soul music", it comes up easily!

  • @MrsPSALMS8510 The programme is called "Soul Music" - it is still available on the Radio 4 website hope you enjoy it. All the best, Tasmin Little

  • I heard there was a recent BBC production concerning this piece and its role in peoples lives. Is this the Radio4 production people are referring to? Is there anywhere I can listen to this programme? I have contacted the author and have not heard from her.

  • @robbiew8n

These two comments between the performer and yourself....what a beautiful and moving display of raw emotion. Thank you both, performer and presenter.

  • I had the most perfect moment in my life life with this melody. actually not being allowed to go on deck. the wawes was to rough, but I did it anyway, between Iceland and Greenland. That was the perfect moment to here this melody wawes just attacking me softly, Mother Earth touched me, like this melody touches me.

  • Ooh ooh ooh

  • I heard it for the first time on radio 4 recently too. I was in the car sobbing. This piece seems so cathartic, if there are any tears in you, this will bring them out. If not, it will calm, uplift or energise you... whatever you need from it at any given time, it seems to supply. Pure, beautiful, perfect.

  • I too love Radio 4 for showing me this beautiful piece. :)
