Jerry Siem is the rod designer for Sage fly rods. He has taken the new TCX out for a short test on the casting pool at the Denver show.

Jerry was not really distance casting in this video snce there is a fence in the back cast at about 65 feet.

I found Jerry's haul to be extremely interesting. He hauls exactly straight down the blank which keeps the rod tip prefectly straight during the loading and unloading. Jerry throws very tight loops with little vibration at all. It would be a good idea to study the video well.

He gave me a short casting lesson after this video and suggested that I might be releasing my haul slightly early. I've been watching Jerry's video to see if I can find the difference.
