  • Lovely =D

  • Thanks!

  • I like your arrangement, and since I've picked up a gig at a local neighborhood bar that is "Pirate" themed, the owner asked me to learn some sea shanties.

Your video is a tremendous help, and ya'll sure do look like you're having fun!!! That's what I like!!!!!!

  • Thank you, we'll be sure to pass it on to them. They do seem to have a great time up on stage. Best of luck with the sea shanties.

  • @redge89 Every culture explores other cultures. Plenty of American folk songs have been sung all over the world and plenty of non-American folk songs have been sung in the US. We do celebrate our history but songs like these are so great they cross seas! And btw this isn't a "day out" in America lol it's a Renaissance Faire, which I've never been too..=D

  • anybody have tabs of this song?

  • Great rendition lads. I enjoined heartedly in song and alas my barrel ran dry.. :)

    Until the morn!

  • @Willyocky yeah I stand corrected, i know all the history etc just feels a tad odd as an englishman. would have expected yanky doodle and a marching band

  • @redge89 America's folk history is English to a large extent. The English created the nation of America, and America's culture is largely anglo-saxon.

The British and the Americans share a lot of culture

  • Lovely song like, but why are they dressed up like Hob-Goblin's from Middle Earth or somewhere?

  • strange to see english folk music/history as some sort of day out in america :S shouldn't they be celebrating their own history/culture rather than another nations? nicely performed though

  • This is just beautiful, I never got around learning the lyrics of this shanty but these guys have such a great arrangement I listened to it over and over again. I'm much into medieval folk sounds, I very much enjoyed this (and still am).

  • LOVE THE FIDDLERS SHOES :). Great arrangement guys, cheers for posting it!

  • i love it !!! thank you for your music!!! Greetings from poland !!!
