The Misfits - Mars Attacks

Homemade video for the song "Mars Attacks". Very Cheesey and still very cool. Thanks for the inspiration Jerry.

**UPDATE** Recently I recieved an Email about this video from the "watchdogs" at Youtube. Apparently they recieved a letter of some kind from UMG Music stating that they owned the copyrights to the material contained within my video. They also stated that they would allow they video to continue to be played on youtube. For that I am ever so grateful.

But I would like to let the people at UMG also know that I meant no harm or foul in "producing" the video. It was more or less a homage to Jerry Only and the misfits. And honestly I did try to contact UMG, Jerry Only, Misfits Records through the proper channels because the video itself was only meant for the Fiends in the Misfits and myself. But many atempts at reaching the proper people I went ahead and put the video out on youtube for all the fiends all around the world to see. I meant no disrespect of anykind to Jerry, or any of the proper Copyright holders.

So thank UMG for allowing this to continue on in the realm it was meant to be seen in......

PS if you could find it in your good graces to contact Jerry and let him know about this I would be very grateful, after all it was created with him and the band in mind.

no they are the actual images from the Topps card set from the 1950's which the Tim Burton movie was very loosely based on.

There are 2 simple reasons I that the video was inspired by Jerry. (1) Because I saw an interview with Jerry talking about the song and he revealed that he sat down with an original set of Topps 'Mars Attacks' cards and wrote the song the way the cards told the story. So I figured that if the cards were the original inspiration to the song then the cards should be what the 'video' is made from. (2) Because Jerry is a very creative/artistic person as am I, so there for he inspired me to make it.

Ummm...you should have put this to Jerry "singing" Mars attacks if it was inspired by him but it does sound better with Graves singing it. Nice video though.
