hahaha...trust me... I've been listening to them for YEARS... his voice is flat on most of the final notes in the phrases... he probably has a cold or something... i've heard this song a ton and know what it REALLY sounds like when he sings it well... you have to really know anything about music to know he's out of tune ;)

Actually... I must side with jcotterm. In fact, I just saw the Decemberists live last night and they sounded amazing... and way better than in this video. I agree that he must have a cold. Pretty much out of tune.. yeah
