The best time to put grass seed down is in the fall, when the nights are still warm, or in the spring, when the night's start to warm up. Rake in grass seeds after placing them in the dirt with help from a sustainable gardener in this free video on gardening tips.

  • You should mention how not all grass seed is the same. You dont just 'plant grass seed', there are considerations like what is your existing lawn type. A Fescue seed in a Kentucky Bluegrass lawn is a huge mistake, I could name lots of other mistakes people waste their time on.

Call a landscape contractor and do it right if you want a nice yard, if you dont care then follow these generalized videos!

  • Seems like ACTUALLY PLANTING THE SEED would really be the most important part of a video called "How to Plant Grass".
