The "White Album" was to be called "A Doll's House" after Ibsen. When they saw another album with those words in the title, they decided to come up with another idea. Pop artist Richard Hamilton then designed the concept of the blank white album jacket.

Thank you so much for posting this masterpiece on Youtube. It is the best album by the most underrated band of all time. In their early days when Jim King was with them, there was no one to touch them live.
