Calving Glacier Causes Panic

While viewing the glacier in Tracy Arm Fjord in Alaska, a 200 foot tall piece of ice collapsed and sent chucks of flying ice and a huge wave that rocked the boat. A woman was injured and broke her leg.

@erad419 Forests that have plants and trees that help take carbon out of the air are being replaced with grazing land for cattle. Take into account the energy used to grow the corn to feed the cows (we have to grow food to feed our food), and the energy used to transport the meat, and this all adds up to why more cows equals more carbon. I'm not vegetarian, but I do choose to eat vegetarian occasionally to lesson my impact. Some people have "Meatless Mondays", I just eat less meat.
