Cool! You should consider instinctive shooting with a longbow with some "feather" arrows. I'm pretty much a beginner and that's what I use. I think my form might be off, though because i keep smacking my wrist when i shoot. Any ideas on what might be causing that?
@Raksaht Longbows are alot of fun and low maintenance as well! I'm not sure if they are flying true when i don't hit my wrist because I don't think I've ever shot without hitting my wrist. I am shooting a bow with an arrow rest. How am I supposed to be holding the bow (I hold with my left hand even though I am left eye dominant)?
@TheRealBoof - Hi buddy... if you're hitting your wrist every time, you're perhaps cocking your wrist in the wrong direction. As you're holding the bow with your left hand, you might have your wrist cocked back too much. Try straightening your wrist or even twisting it clockwise a bit more. If that doesn't work, try adjusting your stance. Don't bring the arrow as close to your chest... meaning twist your body counterclockwise a bit more. I hope this makes sense. It's kind of hard to describe.

@TheRealBoof - I'd love to get a longbow and some feathered arrows actually. I've shot them in the past.
Are you arrows flying true when they don't smack your wrist?
If you're shooting without an arrow rest, you might try cocking the bow slightly.

Thanks buddy :-)
My friend and I buy a lot of cheap stuffed animals to shoot. Pink bunnies are our favorite as they are so bright.
Garfield was a wise guy, I had to put him in his place!!
