My b7300 doesn't have one, I have a light on the dash that indicates that you are in the pre heat position, but it doesn't change status to indicated that the unit is ready. (No matter how long you hold it there.) Excellent tech tip on switching back if the unit is still running roughly, my dealer told me about that, and that little bit of info has really served me well. Keep up the good work Vic.

Vic,
I have had my L28oo for 3 winters now.......
I have not seen this "pre heat indicator" or if I have I did not realize what it was for.
Thanks for the tip. It is 9f out now here in the Pocono Mts. of Pa, I am sure knowing this will come in handy in an hour or so when I fire up my Kub.
Aloha n thanks again,
Glennnnnn
