Katie Couric stopped by "The Early Show" to discuss her upcoming exclusive "60 Minutes" interview with Flight 1549 Captain Chesley Sullenberger.

Now this man, Sullenberger, and his crew; they're TRUE heroes. Society should aspire to these role models with their professionalism and achievements in life. Maybe a little less labeling sports figures or celebrities as such, and focus on the REAL kind of heroes instead. The pilot, crew and emergency task force of Flight 1549 should be cherished. I thank God for people/ citizens like them.

@camilo06: Do not forget?? It seems you have forgotten there was another pilot in that cockpit. If an airport and roadway should be renamed, then name it for Sullenberger AND [Jeff] Skiles, both of whom were instrumental in landing that crippled aircraft.

Sullenberger is so ABOVE this GARBAGE from CBS, and the media whore Katie Couric. I'm watching the interview and she desperately tries to get emotional heart tugging quotes out of Sullenberger and he is a complete professional, and stoic the core. He doesn't have a single dramatic, self-aggrandizing bone in his body, and Couric disgusting tried to get it out of him. She definitely is getting her fill of juicy quotes from the blonde flight attendant however. Kudos to Sullenberger.
