Everything changes from that point on doesn't it ! I was with my mom when her first of 3 tia's happened 7 years ago..it opens a door to a whole new world...each one takes a little out of her. What a heavy load to carry every day.. "whens the big one" ? she's been on Coumadin and getting coagulation tests twice a month. I live with her and take care of her and try not to get too freaked over the potential for this hideous disorder.

it was one of those experiences i never want to go through again. I cant get that image out of my mind. Keeping a very close eye on her as she is now at risk of having a full blown stroke. Keeping my fingers crossed that she doesnt have one and that she recovers from her mini stroke without further problems.

how would you explain me having a headache with middle back pain? is that a mini stroke?
I read sometimes you can experience mini strokes but no passing out.
