The War Tour was U2's real breakout, not Live Aid or Joshua Tree. You must be one of the fans seen in the other videos! Also, Rush/Golden Earring during their Permanent Waves tour, that was a pretty awesome concert too!!!

@auzoso Oh my goodness! So happy to see your post. I met my hubby at the US Fest right before U2 went on and sat on his shoulders during their entire set right up front! The best set at US by a mile! Sports Arena 2 weeks later. I have seen a multitude of concerts through the years, many so excellent, but that one concert stands out as an amazing moment in time that almost seems like it never happened. Bono climbing the scaffolding and leaping into the crowd-did that really happen?

Atomix, many thanks for posting these - the live songs of their early years bring back many great memories growing up in southern Cal. Their infamous concert at the Sports Arena, with The Alarm opening, was the best and most intense concert I have ever been to.
