Fountains of Wayne if one of the best bands around! Their stuff is funny, but they are great musicians and songwriters.

Hackensack is a perfectly cheesy pop gem that is a tribute to unrequited love. Let's all close our eyes and imagine our first high school crush...I wonder what woman they are talking about in this song? They are from New Jersey.

I think the slobby bed-head look really suits this song doesn't it? This is from their Welcome Interstate Managers record, which I think got them nominated for a Grammy (if that means anything to you).
