Gymnasts push boxes across a carpeted Floor to improve general leg strength. It works great. And is FUN.

  • @sh9683 theres a reason olympic athletes use these exercises, theres also a reason you can lift 500+ pounds in these stances....

  • @sh9683 actually the posterior chain is pushed and strengthened best under heavy stress loads. the squat and the deadlift focus on the strongest chain of muscle groups in the body.

    upper body however is best developed under body weight exercises for the most part. without doing high impact things that really require a lot of effort, the lower body stays mostly untapped. the way these girls curve their lumbar is terrible too, just sayin man.

  • @urbanflow101 that is where your wrong! this kind of training beats weatlifting any day, bodyweight and cardio are the best,

  • better off squatting and deadlifting than pushing mats.

  • at 20yrs and just under 5 feet, these little cuties can benchpress me. they are smiling and giggling while pushing this heavy mat, too heavy for me!

  • we have to do this in cheerleadin

  • We have to do that at our gym but the coaches sit on the mat and you push them.

  • kids i coach at altadore hate this conditioning!

    @mscottness its not supposed to be fun its conditioning and these guys are competitive,
